7.00 (above average) | /anime/ Didn't particularly like it. The forest was cool, though.

10.00 (excellent) | /anime/ This series earns the award for "most misleading title of anime"! A beautiful, psychological anime.

9.75 (excellent) | /anime/ I love this. It was basically everything I wanted from an anime with this premise: great character development, well-developed plot, and a nicely wrapped up ending. It was just a wonderful experience, and I can't wait for the second season.

8.25 (good) | /anime/ Impressive for its genre. Ending was a disappointment. Regardless, has an amazing soundtrack. (And, in my complete biased opinion, QB is fantastic.)

8.00 (good) | /manga/ Takahashi Shin, as always, is amazing. Ending was a bit...morbid though, bordering on ridiculous.

8.75 (very good) | /anime/ OK, I admit it. I really, really enjoy Samurai Flamenco. It's just so enjoyable! Even with all its crazy plot twists and Masayoshi's giving the audience the biggest cases of secondhand embarrassment ever, there's just something so incredibly down-to-earth about all this that I can't help but be touched. I love everyone in this series, OK, and I just want them all to be happy. Especially Mari and Gotou. Especially Gotou.

Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda Seen: partially Last Updated: Mar 23, 2014 |
8.75 (very good) | /anime/ Really entertaining mindless entertainment that pokes fun at a variety of tropes. Manages to be funny without being offensive, with some great animation (particularly those backgrounds) and likable characters (Kuroboshi Kouhaku character designs!). Definitely enjoying this one.

5.00 (moderate) | /anime/ Dropped. First arc was the best. It began to go downhill after that. Movie was better than series.

Shigofumi: Letters from the Departed Seen: completely Last Updated: Mar 23, 2014 |
9.00 (very good) | /anime/ Psychological and deep. A bit of a mindtrip later on, though, when it starts delving into Fumika's past.

8.50 (very good) | /manga/ Ah, I so hope Clamp revisits and finishes this someday. It's a nice story.
Seen: partially Last Updated: Oct 30, 2009 |
9.50 (excellent) | /manga & anime & novel/ The pacing of the anime is slow as heck; it's much better suited as a novel.

9.50 (excellent) | /anime & manga/ One of my favorite shounen comedies. The best thing about it? It never forgets it's a comedy, even when there's drama. Manga > Anime.

9.25 (very good) | /manga/ Really nice and quiet slice-of-life. Quite a big cast but all are unique and memorable.

5.00 (moderate) | /manga/ Dropped. Has become one of those mangas that "drags on forever".

7.00 (above average) | /anime/ This is... incredibly not that bad. It's actually pretty decent. Some of the episodes are complete misses for me, but there are a few really nice gems (particularly, Sonico's trip up north) that really touched me. Overall, a nice, easy watch on a slow day.

5.00 (moderate) | /manga/ Dropped. Has completely forgotten that it's suppose to be a COMEDY. Has also become too confusing.
Seen: partially Last Updated: Mar 23, 2014 |
7.75 (good) | /anime/ Episodes are kind of a hit or a miss for me. Really love the creative direction here, though, and when Space Dandy hits the high notes, it hits them really, really well.

6.00 (average) | /manga/ Started dragging a bit near the end. Should've stopped earlier before it degenerated into traditional shoujo. The author's pair-everyone-up scheme wasn't very appreciated (by me) either.

10.00 (excellent) | /anime & manga/ Anime ends too abruptly, but I am completely in love with the manga. If you can read only one mystery manga in your lifetime, READ THIS ONE.

7.00 (above average) | /anime/ Eh... Concept was nice. Didn't really like Haku though.
Seen: completely Last Updated: Mar 23, 2014 |
9.25 (very good) | /anime/ An incredibly interesting mecha anime directed and scripted by a team that has never done mecha anime. I really enjoyed it, and it was chalked full of symbolism, all the while doing some really interesting things with typical mecha cliches.

3.00 (poor) | /anime/ No comment. Watched while young and delusional.
Seen: completely Last Updated: Mar 23, 2014 |
6.00 (average) | /anime/ This was ultimately a disappointment that was saved from complete unworthiness by its great beginning and nice ending. It's middle bits were a huge dip in quality, and the pacing was all over the place. Wish Urobochi could've scripted the entire thing.

8.75 (very good) | /manga/ This manga has many, many flaws, but it is one of the few romances that have wormed its way into my heart. Honestly, it's just fantastic.

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time Seen: completely Last Updated: May 08, 2011 |
10.00 (excellent) | /anime/ Oku Hanako soundtrack is one of the best parts of the movie. The other "best parts" are the movie itself. If you can watch only one shoujo anime in your lifetime, WATCH THIS ONE.

10.00 (excellent) | /anime & manga/ Personal preference. In my opinion, one of the best "FRIENDSHIP" shonens that has ever hit the earth. |
